Star Revenge 4.9: Adulterated Reality is a ROM hack made by BroDute, in collaboration with sizzlingmario4 and thebloody7. This hack is an extension of Star Revenge 4.5: The Kedama Takeover Rewritten, serving as the sequel in the timeline and containing many remodeled assets of the previous hack, albeit very, very different in the wake of the Star Needle. Like Star Revenge 2.5, Remnant of Doom, this hack is designed to be hard in the light kaizo range, thus ranking as the second difficult game of the series counting more stars than its predecessors, and features unique gameplay elements inspired by other kaizo hacks.
